Glowtris (glowtris.vercel.app) is a free browser-based game. This page explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your choices regarding that data.

By playing Glowtris you agree to the practices described here.

We do not collect any personal information. No account registration is required. No email addresses, real names, or device identifiers are stored on our servers.

• Leaderboard submissions store only the display name you choose and your score.
• Game preferences (sound, ghost piece, DAS/ARR, lock delay) are saved locally in your browser via localStorage and never sent to any server.
• Personal game history (last 5 scores, high score, stats) is stored locally in your browser only.

Glowtris itself does not set first-party cookies. All game state is persisted through localStorage, which you can clear at any time through your browser settings.

Third-party services integrated into Glowtris (analytics, described below) may set their own cookies on your device. These cookies are governed by those third parties' privacy policies.

Glowtris is proudly 100% ad-free. We do not display any commercial third-party advertisements or track you for marketing purposes.

Instead of intrusive ads, the development and server costs of Glowtris are funded entirely by voluntary user support through platforms like Buy Me a Coffee. Supporting is entirely optional, and all core game features remain fully accessible for free without ads.

Glowtris may use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymised data about how players interact with the game (page views, session duration, device type). This data does not identify individual users.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

The following third-party services are used to operate Glowtris:

• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions. See Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Upstash Redis — leaderboard score storage. See Upstash Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics — analytics (if enabled). See Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — font loading (Orbitron, Material Icons). Google may log font requests; see Google Privacy Policy.

Glowtris is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Glowtris after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
